1956 Chevy

This 1956 Chevy has been in our shop in the past. This time around, there was a problem with the steering box being loose, and the frame was broken. We pulled the steering box out, repaired the frame and reinforced it. When we put it back together, we found that there was a broken fitting on the hydraulic lines, so we fixed that leak.

Another issue with this 1956 Chevy is that someone had put a fuel sender in the aftermarket fuel tank. It wasn’t setup correctly so the fuel gauge was out of range.

We took some parts we had on hand and readjusted the fuel sender. Now this 1956 Chevy has the correct sweep in the gauge and you can see the right amount of fuel left in the fuel gauge.
